Can fasting help your marriage? Tina Campbell of Mary Mary believes so

The Christian Post reported on May 28 that Tina Campbell of the contemporary gospel music duo Mary Mary says she and her husband are fasting to restore their marriage.
The other half of the music duo Mary Mary is Erica Campbell. Both Christian singers are sisters who married men with the last name "Campbell."
Tina Campell, 39, admits to having infidelities in her marriage. She is married to gospel drummer Teddy Campbell, 38, who has also worked as the percussionist for "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. Together the couple has four children.
Campbell has been transparent about her husband's previous infidelities. She speaks out about them in the June issue of Ebony magazine. She also explains how they are striving to resolve their marital problems on her website.
Campbell is fasting to deal with infidelities in her marriage, and she invites others to fast along with her for the sake of saving her marriage.
She writes:
"I'm assuming that many of you have seen or heard about our article in Ebony that discussed the challenges of overcoming infidelity in our marriage. Well since the article, the challenges have worsened. My hope turned into hopelessness and despair and I became unwilling to forgive and fight, until God showed me myself. My husband's struggle, was with sexual immorality BUT I have struggled with anger, rage, unforgiveness, pride, just to name a few, for over two decades."
The singer says the couple is not mad at each other, but she blames the devil for using strongholds that originated in their childhoods to break them apart.
Actually, the fast began a few days ago. Here is Campbell's invitation:
"Today we began a 30 day fast (May 24th-June 22nd) for complete deliverance and restoration. If u are able to, please fast and/or pray daily that God would answer our prayers and give us a deeper love and commitment to him and to each other."
The singer explained that she and her husband believe God still works miracles, and He can give them the greatest marriage they could ever imagine. That's why they decided to engage in the fast and asked others to pray for their marriage.
Campell concludes:
"We can pray alone BUT your prayers will certainly help."
Are you willing to accept Campbell's invitation and to pray and fast along with her and her husband for the restoration of their marriage?
