Jonathan Nelson debuts #1 with latest album, 'Finish Strong' (Photos)
Jonathan Nelson debuted #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart with “Finish Strong.” The album also came in at #2 on iTunes’ Top Selling Christian/Gospel Albums chart. This is Nelson’s first recording on Karew Records. The title single is at sitting at #21 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs. The rankings were announced by Billboard on Thursday, May 2.
Tamela Mann is #2 with “Best Days” and Andy Mineo remains in a strong position at #3 with ”Heroes For Sale.” “United Tenors: Hammond, Hollister, Roberson and Wilson” from Fred Hammond is #4 and Tasha Cobbs takes the fifth spot with “Grace.”
“Church Muzik & Inspiration” from Half Mile Home jumps more than 20 spaces to #23. “The Introduction” from Zacardi Cortez climbs to #39. Alexis Spight’s “L.O.L.” slips to #19 “Lyrical Theology: Part I” from Shai Linne moves down to # 25 and The Brooklyn Tabernacle’s “Love Lead the Way” falls to #45.
