NAIJA CHRISTIANS TO HOST SOCIALMEDIA WEEK LAGOS TAGGED SOCIAL MEDIA IDENTITY.
Naija Christians, A Voice of The Body of Christ on Social Media will be hosting an event Tagged “Social Media: Projecting our collective identity” in the light of Social Media Week’s global theme “The Future of Now” on Friday, February 21 2014. The event will hold by 12pm at 5, RCCG LIGHT PARISH, 5 OYELOLA STREET ANIFOWOSE, IKEJA, LAGOS.
Social Media: Projecting our Collective Identity is an event where participants can learn how activities on social media can help project our values, norms, culture and belief patterns as a people. We are the society we live in, so how do we project it on social media? What are our values or norms as a people? What we present ourselves as is what we become to the world. Is your personality an image of who you see yourself as, a construct of your imagined self? Or is your on-line profile a portal/window/mirror of the immensity of the person that you are? These and many more will be issues discussed at the event.
SMW IDENTITY will feature guest speakers like Akinade Ibuoye AKA Gaisebaba, Nnodim Blossom, RooftopMC’s Sokleva Hughes, Dayo Nigeria and Naija info’s OAP Fola Folayan. The event will be anchored by SACO. Participants can come along with their internet devices to the event. The 2 hour event will include performances, shorts-interlude and refreshments, networking and lots of surprises.
Najia Christian is an online platform predominantly on the Social Media to encourage, edify, exhort and comfort believers. With the Worldwide Web as our mission field, we believe we can reach out to the world backed up firstly by God and then our biblical mandate which instructs us to preach the gospel of Christ. Mark 16:15. Also, with the aim of bringing God online to the consciousness of the people, we act as a voice for the body of Christ on the Nigerian Social media space and beyond. We want a desired change for our nation Nigeria and as Christians, we should be up front causing a revolution that God himself will be proud of. It takes you and us to create the desired change in Nigeria.
